Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of CT experience and proficiency with Phillips equipment for a per diem, day shift position.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital CT department performing computerized tomography scanning procedures
• Day shifts with varied, PRN/contingent schedule
• Role includes setup and monitoring of CT equipment and assisting with specialized radiological procedures
• Patients may require intravenous contrast per radiologist protocol
• Electronic/digital image capture, storage, and transfer responsibilities
• Main responsibilities include patient screening, accurate image acquisition, contrast preparation/injection, and monitoring for reactions
• Assists radiologists and physician specialists during procedures
• Follows prescribed safety standards and Michigan Department of Public Health regulations
• Participates in departmental quality control, equipment calibration, and continuous improvement activities
• May provide orientation and instruction to new personnel
• Up to 5 days of requested time off will be considered
• Full-time employees of McLaren are not eligible if within six months of employment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience required
• Experience with Phillips CT equipment required
• Traveler experience preferred
• Ability to provide basic CPR and assist in emergency medical situations
• License required if applicable
