Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT/X-Ray Technologist with proficiency in fluoroscopy, digital radiography, and C-arm procedures for a night shift hospital assignment.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based position covering both CT and X-Ray modalities
• Night shifts on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient population includes all age groups
• Duties include operating radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment in various hospital settings, including the OR, ER, and bedside
• Required to work one set of designated holidays, including either Christmas or New Year's and the following weekend
• Potential on-call responsibilities as determined by the department
• Responsibilities include positioning patients, adjusting immobilization devices, and optimizing imaging based on physician requests
• Expected to practice standard radiation safety techniques
• Dress code is hospital blue scrubs (provided), personal plain scrubs, or business casual with lab coat; no hooded sweatshirts or dangling earrings allowed
• Hair must be pulled back if longer than shoulder length and closed-toe shoes are required
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; no more than 5 days will be approved
• Holiday assignments are mandatory as outlined by the department schedule
• Extensions ending in November or before the December holiday period will not be eligible for further extension at the start of 2026

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current CT/X-Ray experience in a hospital setting
• Proficiency in fluoroscopy, digital radiography, portable radiography, and OR C-arm procedures is required
• Experience imaging patients of all ages is required
• Active ARRT and BLS (AHA) certification required
• NH License of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy or eligibility for temporary NH MIRT licensure is required
• License required if applicable
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Must have basic computer skills
• Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Traveler must have own reliable vehicle
• Local travelers residing within 50 miles will not be considered
