Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring a PA or compact license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

Positions available on multiple Med/Surg units, including floors 5, 6, and 7, and a Med/Surg/Tele unit
Medical-surgical patient population with potential telemetry cases
Day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
13-week contract assignment
Typical duties include providing comprehensive care to Med/Surg patients and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
Time off requests must be less than 1 week
Tele experience may be needed due to unit assignments
Travelers are not eligible if they have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility in the past two years

Requirements

Active PA or compact RN license required
Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg experience
No certifications may expire within 30 days of contract start
Candidates must have no gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
No previous permanent employment at any CHS facility within the last 2 years
Driver's license required for consideration
Cannot accept local travelers residing within a 50-mile radius
