Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital position, requiring experience with adult and geriatric patients and prior acute care clinical rotation experience.

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital setting
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Day shift, 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 to 17:00
• Rotating weekend shifts, with 3-6 weekend shifts per contract
• Uses Epic EMR
• First-time travelers with relevant acute care experience will be considered
• Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting
• Some weekend and rotating shifts are part of the contract
• Use of Epic EMR system for all documentation
• All certifications and references must be attached for consideration

Requirements

• Current and valid Physical Therapy license required if applicable
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Prior acute care clinical rotation experience required
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Must be comfortable working with adult and geriatric populations
• References from two supervisors within the last three years required
• Clinician must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of offer acceptance or have a plan in place
• Minimum local radius of 110 miles; local candidates not accepted
