Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and level 1 trauma and travel experience for a fast-paced acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital with level 1 trauma designation
• Department consists of 8 CT treatment areas using Siemens equipment and Bracco contrast injectors
• Mixed patient population including pediatrics through geriatrics, with high acuity and a fast-paced environment
• Common procedures include CTAs, cardiac, perfusion imaging, and a variety of studies from the OR and ER
• 3x12 overnight shifts (1830-0700), rotating schedule covering Sunday, Monday, Saturday and Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday
• May float between main campus and stand-alone emergency campus as needed
• Uses Epic EMR and McKesson PACS; Epic experience preferred
• Must be comfortable working in a high acuity, busy environment and demonstrate flexibility in shifting priorities
• Candidates may not be currently employed (FT, PT, or PRN) with any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility
• RTO must be requested upfront and limited to 7 days or less per 13-week contract
• Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas; refusal may lead to contract termination
• Radiation badge provided
• Team-oriented environment seeking motivated self-starters
• May require floating to cover other modalities based on departmental needs
• Scrub policy and color will be discussed during onboarding

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required
• Level 1 trauma experience and travel experience required
• Active state or compact (NLC) license required if applicable
• Current BLS (AHA) and ARRT (R) required; ARRT (CT) preferred
• Skilled in venipuncture and able to perform both CT and X-ray preferred for overnight shifts
• Excellent prioritization, problem-solving, and customer service skills
• Must provide driver's license to verify 50-mile distance from facility
