Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a home health position working day shifts and utilizing Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

Home health setting serving patients across all age groups
Five 8-hour day shifts starting at 8 am with no weekends or on-call requirements
Potential to float within the same discipline across local campuses
Uses Epic for electronic medical records
Role includes contributing professional clinical skills as part of an interdisciplinary team
Initial orientation consists of 16 hours
Travelers may be required to work two out of three major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
Requests for time off are limited to one day during specified peak holiday periods
No call or weekend shifts required

Requirements

Current BLS certification required
Active state license required if applicable; willing to accept candidates who can apply for an Iowa license
At least 1.5 years of physical therapy experience required
Previous home health experience is preferred
