Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a rotating day/night Trauma ICU position requiring an active MA license and recent ICU experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in an 18-bed adult medical, surgical, abdominal/lung transplant, and trauma ICU setting
- Care for critically ill patients with complex medical needs alongside a multidisciplinary team
- Uses Epic for charting and documentation
- 36 hours per week with a 50/50 split between day and night shifts
- Weekend and holiday shifts required as part of the schedule
- Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the hospital
- Participate in the care of complex trauma and transplant cases in a high-acuity ICU
- Join a large, highly skilled, and compassionate multidisciplinary care team
- No validated parking is available; paid parking options and public transportation are accessible
- Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
- References are required for consideration
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted MA RN license is required; no conditional licenses accepted
- Minimum of 2 years recent acute care inpatient or current ICU nursing experience
- At least 1 year of travel nursing experience is required
- Current BLS certification from AHA is required
- Epic charting experience is preferred
- Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
