Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Patient population includes adults requiring medical-surgical and telemetry care
• Rotating day and night shifts with 3x12-hour schedule; specific shifts may vary to meet operational needs
• Shift times are 7:00am-7:30pm and 7:00pm-7:30am
• Travelers are scheduled to work every other holiday
• Qualivis – Lotus is used for submitting hours worked
• Assignment lengths at a single location may not exceed 18 consecutive months without mutual agreement
• A six-month break is required between assignments at the same health system
• Must provide two references for consideration
• Travelers are required to work every other holiday
• Dress code and other orientation details will be provided prior to the assignment

Requirements

• Active Ohio or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in MS/Tele prior to travel assignments
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS from AHA or American Red Cross
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation
