Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, ARRT, Fluoro Permit, ACLS, and BLS certifications for coronary and peripheral interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital cath lab setting
• Daily caseload ranges from 8 to 12 cases
• Procedures include coronary diagnostic/intervention, peripheral diagnostic/intervention, and permanent pacemaker placements
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekend shifts required
• On-call duties are required
• No floating required within the facility for this unit
• Charting is completed using Epic EMR and Epic experience is required
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Thirty hours of orientation provided
• Scrubs are provided for Cath Lab staff
• Free parking on site from the first day
• Returning perm staff must wait at least 3 months and cannot be within 50 miles of the facility to be eligible as travelers
• Any requested time off must be approved at the time of submission
• Locals are accepted
• The facility offers assistance with housing for travelers if needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Current ARRT, Fluoro Permit, BLS, and ACLS certifications required
• RCIS certification is not accepted
• Pending state Fluoro Permits accepted if application is in process
• Must provide two supervisory references covering one year within the last three years in a comparable setting
• License required if applicable
