Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least one year of experience and ARRT certification for a night shift position serving adult and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital radiology department specializing in MRI
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Shift is Monday through Thursday, 4x10 hour nights from 21:30 to 7:00
• Rotating every other weekend required
• Float to other units as needed
• Call is required as part of the schedule
• Uses Epic, Pyxis, GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba systems
• Expected to work up to two major holidays if assignment includes multiple, per facility policy
• Must wear pewter gray scrubs as dress code
• Clinical screen may be required before manager review
• Compliance must be completed prior to start to avoid delays
• Return travelers must have been away from all Piedmont facilities for at least one year
• No blocked scheduling allowed
• Maximum of 7 days RTO, none permitted in first week
• Travel pairs are not permitted to be assigned the same shift on the same unit
• Locals are accepted at the same rate

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience
• Current BLS and ARRT certifications required
• Proficiency in diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, image post-processing, apparent diffusion coefficient mapping, subtraction, multiplanar reconstruction, and perfusion techniques
• Familiarity with Epic, Pyxis, GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba, and PACS
• License required if applicable
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Must provide two supervisory references for consideration
