Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with a current NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License and ARRT certification.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a medical imaging setting performing MRI procedures
  • Shift options include Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, or four 10-hour shifts during the week including Saturday
  • Adult patient population
  • IV/injection procedures required
  • Use of MRI scanners and related imaging technology
  • Completion of facility-specific online modules prior to start is required
  • Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate for those within 60 miles
  • Return to facility may be subject to additional review for past employees
  • If any license or certification will expire during the assignment, proof of renewal or scheduled renewal date must be provided

Requirements

  • Current NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License required if applicable
  • R.T. (R)(MR) (ARRT) certification required
  • NYS IV/Injection Certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience; 2 years preferred
  • Current BLS certification (AHA only accepted)
  • Two professional references from previous managers within the past year
