Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist with at least 1 year of CT experience, BLS and ARRT certifications, to work night shifts in a fast-paced Level I trauma environment.
Responsibilities
- Work setting includes inpatient, emergency room, and operating room environments
- Level I trauma center with stroke accreditation and adult ICU
- Night shift schedule is 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Call rotation once every 6-10 weeks and work every third weekend
- Diverse adult patient population with trauma and emergency cases
- Procedures performed include CT scans of the abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal system, and brain perfusion
- Utilizes Siemens CT equipment and Epic EMR; experience preferred
- Perform a variety of CT examinations with a focus on trauma and emergency cases
- Responsible for ensuring patient safety and maintaining high image quality standards
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to regulatory guidelines
- All candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after contract signing
- Locals are accepted at the same rate
- Candidates who are former employees are eligible if separated for at least 6 months
- Current employees of the facility are not eligible for travel positions
- RTO must be submitted and built into contract requests
- Specific dress code or scrub requirements not stated
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience required
- Current BLS and ARRT certifications required
- Advanced ARRT certification preferred
- Must be able to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and on-call
- Experience with Siemens equipment and Epic charting preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to perform under pressure
- License required if applicable
- Two professional references required, with at least one from someone in a formal leadership capacity
