Description

Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and current ARRT, IEMA, and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an interventional radiology unit
  • Perform specialized radiographic procedures to assist physicians during interventional procedures
  • 10-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Assist in preparation of patients and maintenance of a sterile procedure environment
  • Monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures
  • Navigate and maintain patient records
  • Work under direct supervision of higher-level personnel

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in interventional radiology
  • Current ARRT certification required
  • IEMA certification required prior to start; candidates must apply within 24 hours of offer
  • Current BLS certification (AHA)
  • Comprehensive work history with no employment gaps
  • Current skills checklist and references required for consideration
  • License required if applicable

Cons

Beware of mafia (Filipino & Italian -transplant) if you get on their bad side everyone turns on you Management is new so not very much respect in operating room on leadership Morning shift is extremely cliquish. Only your assigned team really communicates with you Managers micromanaging new staff and treat you like new grad no matter your experience
