Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and a valid TX license for a day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a mammography unit specializing in diagnostic imaging
• Scheduled day shifts of 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday with a 1-hour lunch break
• Occasional shift extension up to 7:00 PM 1-2 times per month
• Possible Saturday coverage from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
• No on-call required
• Uses Cerner EMR; Cerner experience preferred
• Expect to work some holidays as needed
• Confirmed time-off requests (RTO) are required prior to assignment consideration
• Local candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Pending license may be accepted during consideration but must be active by start date

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent mammography technologist experience required
• Current TX license in hand required by start date (license required if applicable)
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Must pass an on-site drug screen
