Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift contract requiring a TX or compact license and recent L&D experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with four 12-hour shifts per week from 19:00 to 07:00
• Assignment options for 36 or 48 hours per week
• May float to other campuses or floors as needed
• Must reside at least 150 miles from the facility
• Altera charting experience is preferred but not required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Completion of required modules is part of orientation and takes an average of 6-8 hours
• Previous permanent staff must be gone for at least 1 year to be eligible for a travel contract
• Clinicians must complete required lab work within 72 hours of offer acceptance or have a clear plan for completion
• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required
• Modules are to be completed during orientation
• Mandatory drug screening is strictly enforced, including for CBD products

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• 3 years of experience preferred
• Resume and certification verification are required
• Two supervisory references from the last 3 years of employment required
• Must complete facility drug screening upon arrival, including testing for marijuana
