Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of CT experience and current ARRT(R) certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a facility covering inpatient, outpatient, and ER cases
• Shift schedule includes 6-hour mid shifts on Thursday and Friday evenings and 12-hour day shifts on Saturday and Sunday
• Call required 2 nights per month and 1 weekend per 13-week contract
• Handle 50-60 cases between three technologists with 4-5 technologists per shift
• Use GE CT equipment
• Work independently across multiple settings
• Must be able to work independently to complete multi-step CT procedures and verify data integrity
• Will be required to pass EKG testing on the first day with up to two attempts; study guides provided
• Team of 4-5 technologists per shift supports case volume
• 50-mile radius rule applies for candidate eligibility
• First-time travelers may be considered

Requirements

• Current BLS certification required
• Current ARRT(R) Radiologic Technologist registration required
• Valid VA Radiology License required if applicable
• Ohio Department of Health License for Radiologic Technologist required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year CT experience required, with 2 years preferred
• Broad range of technical skills and detailed knowledge of Radiology/CT modalities
• Preferred qualifications include ARRT(R)(CT) registration, ACLS certification, and 2 years of Radiology experience
