Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital with night shifts and COVID-19 vaccination required.

Responsibilities

Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a Level 1 Trauma, teaching hospital
Patient population includes laboring mothers and neonates
Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:30 to 08:00
Every other weekend and every other holiday required
No on-call requirement
Floating within scope to other units as needed
Uses Centricity, Sorian, EDM, Lawson, and Kronos charting systems
Hospital-provided scrubs
Orientation on first day with manager interview possible
Hospital is accessible via multiple public transportation options
Parking available at daily, weekly, or monthly rates
Maximum of one time off request during contract
Hospital-provided scrubs required as dress code
Two professional references required for consideration

Requirements

Active DC RN license required for consideration
Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
First-time travelers are accepted
Locals accepted for this position
No pending licenses accepted
