Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: four 10-hour shifts per week from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks
• Charge experience is preferred
• Utilizes Epic EMR, with experience preferred
• Scrubs are provided
• No travel pairs or groups will be considered
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• No more than 3 days of requested time off will be approved
• No time off is permitted during the first week of orientation

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are required
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room RN experience required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Former permanent staff must be gone at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Applicants must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
