Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a hospital-based outpatient clinic, specializing in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based outpatient setting with a patient population that is approximately 80% orthopedic cases including TKA, THR, RCR, and ACL repair
• Includes patients needing post-stroke rehabilitation and those with functional deficits from various disease processes
• Monday through Friday schedule with standard day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekends or on-call requirements
• May float within the facility as needed according to licensure and scope of practice
• Responsibilities include providing therapy for orthopedic, post-stroke, and various medical conditions resulting in functional deficits
• Holiday coverage required: expect to work one major holiday if it falls during the assignment, both if two fall, or two if three occur
• Return travelers must have been away from all Piedmont facilities for at least 1 year before re-applying
• Travel pairs are not permitted on the same shift in the same unit
• No blocked scheduling is permitted
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off is allowed; no time off permitted during the first week
• Full compliance with facility onboarding is required for start date eligibility
• Locals are accepted at the same pay rate

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapy license required if applicable
• Minimum experience as required for practice in an outpatient clinic setting
• Ability to treat a variety of orthopedic and neurological patient populations
