Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient rehab position, requiring BLS certification and at least 1 year of experience.
Responsibilities
- Inpatient rehab unit in an acute care hospital setting
- Patient population includes orthopedics, transplant, med surg, neurology, and ICU cases
- Day shifts with alternating 8-hour schedules: 07:00-15:30 or 10:30-19:00
- Full-time, 40 hours per week on a 13-week assignment
- First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
- Flu vaccination is required for all employees
- Scrub color is not specified
- Must provide 2 professional references from supervisors within the past 2 years
Requirements
- Active state license required if applicable
- BLS certification is mandatory
- Minimum of 1 year of recent physical therapy experience
- Skills in cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, neurology, oncology, and orthopedics are required
