Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring Neuro IR experience, critical care background, and strong ECG interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Interventional Radiology (IR) lab setting
• Shift is 7:30 am to 6:00 pm for 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• On-call rotation required, typically 3 times per week, with a 1-hour response time
• Weekend coverage required, approximately 1 weekend per month and 1-2 shifts per week
• All cases are completed in the lab environment
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Hospital provides maroon scrubs
• 1-week orientation provided
• Duties include neuro interventional radiology procedures and patient monitoring
• Expect to work with a collaborative core staff team
• Holiday coverage is required including one major and one minor holiday
• First-time travelers may be eligible for this assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license from VA or Compact state required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must have Neuro IR experience and critical care background
• Proficiency in starting IVs required
• Must be able to read and interpret ECG strips and lethal rhythms
• Must pass an ECG exam prior to consideration
