Job Description

American Traveler seeks a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of CT and Radiology Tech experience and active Ohio licensure.

Responsibilities

• Hospital setting with a focus on CT and X-ray imaging
• Shift is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including every fourth weekend and every other holiday night
• Average caseload of approximately 3 patients per hour
• Multi-modality technologist role requiring competency in two imaging modalities, such as CT and X-ray
• Utilization of GE CT and X-ray equipment
• Care for a variety of patients, including those in the Emergency Department
• Uses Epic EMR, PACS, and RIS systems, with experience preferred
• Call requirements scheduled as needed
• Radius rule of 50 miles applies for candidates
• Primary duties include performing CT and X-ray procedures and operating equipment per established protocols
• Responsibilities include patient identification verification, documentation, radiation protection, and administration of IV contrast as needed
• May be required to perform venipuncture and utilize a power injector for contrast administration
• Pass/fail EKG testing is required on the first day, with two attempts permitted and study guides provided
• Scrub color or attire is not specified
• Previous travel experience preferred but not required
• Completion of all required modules and compliance with continuing education standards is expected
• Local candidates are accepted, subject to radius rule

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Radiology Technologist
• At least 2 years of CT experience in a hospital setting required
• Ohio License required if applicable
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• CT registry highly preferred
• Experience with Emergency Department imaging preferred
• Ability to perform duties in at least two imaging modalities, including CT and X-ray
• Associate's Degree from an ARRT-accredited program or similar qualification preferred
