Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring a KS or compact RN license and recent ED experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) setting
• Work schedule is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Unit serves emergency department patients with a range of acute needs
• Provide emergency care to a diverse patient population in a high-acuity environment
• Night shift coverage is required
• Required to submit a complete application, skills checklist, professional references, and copies of certifications for consideration
• No Canadian SSNs accepted

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in emergency nursing
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or accepted equivalent required for ER units
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
