Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Echo Technologist with 2+ years of pediatric cardiac sonography experience and ARDMS/RDCS PE and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a pediatric echocardiography setting performing cardiac imaging on patients with congenital anomalies and varied cardiac needs
  • Average volume of 6-8 exams per day
  • Staffing ratio is 1:4 during weekday days and 1:1 during nights or weekends
  • Schedule is 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 08:00 to 16:30
  • On-call required one weekend per month (Saturday/Sunday, 07:30-07:30), with weekday on-call from 18:30 to 07:30 as scheduled
  • Floating within the department may be required
  • Uses GE and Philips ultrasound equipment
  • Performs echocardiograms on pediatric patients with congenital and acquired cardiac conditions
  • Holiday coverage is required as scheduled
  • Scrub color is navy blue
  • Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years pediatric echo tech/cardiac sonographer experience required
  • ARDMS or RDCS PE and BLS certifications required
  • Position open to first-time travelers
  • License required if applicable
