Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Echo Technologist with 2+ years of pediatric cardiac sonography experience and ARDMS/RDCS PE and BLS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in a pediatric echocardiography setting performing cardiac imaging on patients with congenital anomalies and varied cardiac needs
- Average volume of 6-8 exams per day
- Staffing ratio is 1:4 during weekday days and 1:1 during nights or weekends
- Schedule is 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 08:00 to 16:30
- On-call required one weekend per month (Saturday/Sunday, 07:30-07:30), with weekday on-call from 18:30 to 07:30 as scheduled
- Floating within the department may be required
- Uses GE and Philips ultrasound equipment
- Performs echocardiograms on pediatric patients with congenital and acquired cardiac conditions
- Holiday coverage is required as scheduled
- Scrub color is navy blue
- Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years pediatric echo tech/cardiac sonographer experience required
- ARDMS or RDCS PE and BLS certifications required
- Position open to first-time travelers
- License required if applicable
