Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist with 2–3 years of recent experience, including GI procedures and OR C-arm use.
Responsibilities
- Position based in a hospital X-ray unit with focus on general radiology
- Covers GI procedures, general X-ray, portable X-ray, and C-arm use within the OR
- Day shifts Friday through Sunday from 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- Varied on-call responsibilities are required
- Level I Trauma experience preferred
- Experience with Siemens, GE OEC, Ziehm, Shimadzu, and PACS systems preferred
- Uses Cerner and Epic EMRs; Epic experience required
- Locals considered with a 60-mile radius rule
- Responsibilities include performing a variety of diagnostic X-ray exams including GI procedures and intraoperative imaging support
- Facility is smoke free
- Candidates must have all required licenses and certifications at time of consideration
- Basic arrhythmia assessment must be passed with minimum required scores prior to start
- Study guides and online orientation materials available to support onboarding
Requirements
- Current FL CRT and ARRT certifications required
- Active BLS certification from AHA
- Minimum 2–3 years of recent X-ray tech experience
- Experience with GI procedures, general X-ray, portable X-ray, and C-arm in the OR
- Epic EMR experience required
- Level I Trauma experience preferred
- License required if applicable
- Must provide proof of vaccination status; no declinations accepted
- Must pass EKG/arrhythmia testing as part of hiring process
