Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience on GE scanners and ARRT, BLS certification for a Level 1 Trauma acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 500-bed acute care hospital with a dedicated CT department
• Three CT machines are available in the department
• Perform CT scans primarily in the emergency department and main hospital
• Assist with morning chest x-rays in the ICU when needed
• Utilize GE scanners, Sectra PACS, and Epic EMR
• Day shifts, Friday through Sunday, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• No floating to other departments required
• Initial training/orientation provided for 1-2 weeks
• Work alongside a strong team of technologists in a busy 24/7 CT department
• All clinicians must badge in and out per facility policy
• Dress code is dark gray scrubs
• Returning employees must have an end date at least 6 months prior to consideration
• Candidates within 80 miles of the facility may be considered with an adjusted bill rate

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
• Experience working with GE scanners required
• Current ARRT and BLS certifications required
• CT certification preferred
• License required if applicable
