Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Speech Therapist with at least 2 years of recent experience for a day shift travel assignment in a hospital rehab setting.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital-based Speech Therapy Rehab department
Day shift schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
13-week travel assignment
Role involves providing rehabilitation services within a collaborative hospital team
Candidate must be eligible to work in the US
No Canadian SSNs will be accepted

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Speech Therapist
At least 6 months of experience in the Speech Therapy role within the past 6 months
License required if applicable
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Pros

providers are very responsive, closed ICU, teaching hospital with residents.

Cons

frequent floating, travelers float first, never core staff. heavy neuro focus in the icu. trach/vent peg/TF q2 turn. travelers don't get the fresh sick ones, moreso sick stable.
