Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist with dual CT and X-ray registration and at least two years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting with two available positions and distinct shift options
• Position 1: 10-hour night shifts Monday through Thursday from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM at NNMC Hospital
• Position 2: 12-hour night shifts Friday through Sunday and alternating Mondays from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM in an ER setting
• CT scanners are Canon; X-ray systems are GE and Siemens
• EMR used is Cerner, and PACS system is GE
• Roles require ability to work independently, especially on night shifts and in an ER environment
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment, analyze body habitus to adjust imaging techniques, and consistently produce high-quality images
• Assist physicians during procedures, including room preparation and managing supplies and contrast reactions
• Schedule and complete exams and accurately enter charge codes
• Work independently, especially during night shifts and in the ER setting
• Team environment with expectation to collaborate and also cover solo responsibilities
• Must be comfortable providing care in a high-acuity emergency setting

Requirements

• Current CT and X-ray registration required
• Minimum of 2 years recent CT and X-ray experience in a US hospital
• Active unrestricted license required if applicable
• AHA certifications required
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) required
• Ability to perform exams using CT and X-ray equipment, adjust technical factors, position patients, and reduce unnecessary radiation
• Must provide two manager or supervisor references verifying recent relevant experience
• US Social Security Number required for consideration
• No locals within a 50-mile radius will be considered
