Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position with ACLS, BLS, and Epic experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Medical Surgical unit within an acute care hospital
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Weekends required, typically every other weekend
• Floating required to all Med/Surg floors and potentially to rehabilitation
• Care of adult med/surg patients, including those with COVID-19
• Epic EMR experience required
• Expected to work 2 out of 3 major holidays, with no time off allowed between Christmas and New Year’s
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off allowed during the assignment
• Hospital is a tobacco and fragrance free facility
• COVID patient care may be required

Requirements

• Active PA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Prior experience with Epic charting system required
• Must be able to pass a clinical screen prior to placement
