Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of recent scrubbing experience and BLS/ACLS certification for an adult and geriatric patient population.

Responsibilities

Position based in a hospital cardiac catheterization lab with 2 Cath Labs and 1 Hybrid OR
Adult and geriatric patient population
Procedures include IABP, Rotablator, Shockwave, Structural Heart (TAVR, PFO, MitraClip, Watchman)
Uses GE Innova IGS, Phillips, GE MacLab, IVUS, FFR equipment
EPIC EMR utilized on the unit
Day shift 4x10 hours, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
On-call required: up to 10 weekdays (Monday-Thursday, 5 PM-6 AM) and 3 weekends (Friday 5 PM-Monday 6 AM) per contract
Weekends and holidays required as scheduled
Role involves advanced cardiac and structural procedures including device interventions
Local travelers accepted at a reduced pay rate
Scrubbing and assisting with a variety of interventional cardiology procedures required
Dress code and orientation details provided upon assignment

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab or Interventional scrubbing experience required
Current BLS and ACLS certification required
ARRT-R and/or RCIS required
Experience with EMR (EPIC preferred)
First-time travelers considered for this position
License required if applicable
