Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and recent ED experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
• Night shifts are 7:00pm to 7:30am, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Assignment is 13 weeks in length
• Patients include a diverse ED population
• Traveler is required to work at least every other holiday
• Orientation includes ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate tests, both requiring acceptable scores
• Qualivis – Lotus system will be used for submitting hours worked
• Assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location cannot exceed 18 consecutive months, with a 6-month break required before returning
• Must provide at least two references for consideration
• Holiday coverage is required for at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum 18 months of recent Emergency Department experience
• At least 18 months of permanent specialty experience prior to travel
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC certification is preferred
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate testing required during orientation
