Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technician with at least 1 year of hospital experience and current BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a hospital-based ultrasound department
- Shifts are from 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM
- Variable on-call required, including weekday, 3rd shift (9:00 PM to 6:00 AM), partial daytime, and every third weekend as well as rotating holidays
- Imaging performed using Siemens and GE equipment
- EMR is Epic
- May float to other sites within a 40 mile radius based on staffing needs
- Must provide a valid US Social Security Number and US home address
- Local candidates may be accepted at a reduced rate, subject to facility radius rules
- Must be willing to participate in variable call and rotating holiday coverage
- May require floating onsite within skill set or to nearby sites within 40 miles if needed
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required
- Scrub requirements not specified
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year hospital-based ultrasound experience
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
- ARDMS certification required
- Experience with Siemens and GE ultrasound machines required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Current license required if applicable
