Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and GE CT equipment proficiency for 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital imaging department performing CT scans for emergency, inpatient, observation, and outpatient populations
• Average of 30 studies on weekdays and 14 studies on weekends
• Weekend night shifts: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Department uses GE Revolution Apex CT, Bayer MedRad dual-head contrast injector, Epic EMR, Epic Radiant RIS, and Philips iSite PACS
• No floating outside department
• Dedicated administrative onboarding followed by department-specific training during the first week
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment handling a variety of patient cases
• Travelers will work holidays that fall within scheduled shifts
• Black scrubs required
• Free parking provided
• Not a trauma-designated, teaching, chest pain, or stroke-accredited hospital
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Requests for time off are subject to manager approval

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years CT Technologist experience required
• Current ARRT (R)(CT) certification and BLS required
• Experience with GE CT equipment required
• Proficient in performing routine and STAT CT exams and prioritizing cases by acuity, including Code Strokes and post-processing exams
• EMR experience with Epic strongly preferred
• License required if applicable
