Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with a MI license and at least two years of OR experience.

Responsibilities

Position is in the Operating Room unit of a hospital
Day shift from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
13-week contract assignment
Permanent residence must be more than 60 miles from the facility
Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
Must not be employed full time elsewhere

Requirements

Active MI RN license required
Minimum of two years recent Operating Room nursing experience
Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
COVID vaccination card required
RQI certifications are not accepted

I have never worked anywhere that runs like this facility. They have very limited resources in the upper peninsula. The staffing is always short. The nurses normally do a lot of tech work daily very unorganized difficult to complete tasks because of the way the unit is run. The people are great, but I don’t see any improvement here for a very long time
