Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown position requiring a MO or compact RN license, ACLS, and BCLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Stepdown unit of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with 4x12 hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:30
• May float to units of similar or lower acuity as needed
• Patient care in a Level II Trauma and Level II Stroke Center
• EPIC charting system is used; prior EPIC experience preferred
• Responsible for providing care to stepdown patients in a tertiary care environment
• Free parking is provided on site
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a reduced rate

Requirements

• Active MO RN or compact state license required, pending license accepted but must be in hand prior to start
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years Stepdown RN experience required
• BSN preferred
