Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interim Director of Nursing for a Long Term Care facility, requiring an active MT or compact RN license and experience with CMS regulations.

Responsibilities

Work in a 35-bed Long Term Care setting
Day shift schedule
Current average census is 23 residents
Role involves nursing leadership and management responsibilities
Oversee daily operations and clinical care in a long term care environment
Collaborate with staff to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Local candidates are accepted as there is no specified radius requirement
This is an interim assignment with a 13-week contract duration

Requirements

Active MT or compact RN license
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
Knowledge of CMS Long Term Care Regulations is required
Current certifications: BLS/BCLS and ACLS required
Advanced certifications such as PALS, NRP, CPI, ENPC, RNFA, TNCC, AWHONN, NIHSS, STABLE, ASLS, or NBSTSA may be required or preferred
