Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist with ARRT-CT certification and at least 2 years of recent CT experience for a Level 2 trauma center assignment.

Responsibilities

Assignment is at a Level 2 trauma center CT scan department
Handles a diverse caseload including trauma, stroke, cardiovascular, procedural, and routine scans
Provides imaging services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
Uses Siemens CT scanners
Night shift schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
No call requirement for this position
13-week contract assignment
No local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered
Duties include operating CT equipment to perform imaging exams on emergency, inpatient, and outpatient populations
Experience working with a range of patient ages from neonate to geriatric is necessary
Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
RTO (requested time off) must be submitted prior to offer; changes after offer are not permitted

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years recent CT experience required
Current BLS and ARRT-CT certification required
Demonstrated proficiency with Siemens scanners preferred
License required if applicable
