Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 2+ years of recent experience and active ARRT and MA licensure for a flexible 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a diagnostic radiology department within a large medical center
• High-acuity setting with Level I trauma cases
• Patient population includes adults, trauma, pediatric, and orthopedic OR cases
• Schedule consists of flexible 8-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours per week, with no set schedule
• Must be adaptable to the needs of the unit
• Duties include performing trauma and routine diagnostic radiology, orthopedic OR imaging, pediatric studies, and fluoroscopy procedures
• Must be willing to work with a variety of cases in an active trauma environment
• Orientation provided specific to unit and hospital requirements
• Parking is available with associated fees
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a licensed X-ray Technologist
• Active ARRT certification required
• Active MA state license required at time of consideration
• BLS certification required
• Experience in high-level trauma centers preferred
• Experience with diverse trauma radiology, orthopedic OR procedures, pediatric imaging, and fluoroscopy procedures preferred
• At least 18 months of specialty experience required
• Two professional references required, one must be from a manager and include a performance evaluation (one reference within 12 months, other within 3 years)
• License required if applicable
