Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 2+ years of recent experience and active ARRT and MA licensure for a flexible 13-week assignment.
Responsibilities
- Work in a diagnostic radiology department within a large medical center
- High-acuity setting with Level I trauma cases
- Patient population includes adults, trauma, pediatric, and orthopedic OR cases
- Schedule consists of flexible 8-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours per week, with no set schedule
- Must be adaptable to the needs of the unit
- Duties include performing trauma and routine diagnostic radiology, orthopedic OR imaging, pediatric studies, and fluoroscopy procedures
- Must be willing to work with a variety of cases in an active trauma environment
- Orientation provided specific to unit and hospital requirements
- Parking is available with associated fees
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a licensed X-ray Technologist
- Active ARRT certification required
- Active MA state license required at time of consideration
- BLS certification required
- Experience in high-level trauma centers preferred
- Experience with diverse trauma radiology, orthopedic OR procedures, pediatric imaging, and fluoroscopy procedures preferred
- At least 18 months of specialty experience required
- Two professional references required, one must be from a manager and include a performance evaluation (one reference within 12 months, other within 3 years)
- License required if applicable
