Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a seasoned RN for a Med Surg/Telemetry travel assignment requiring night shifts and at least one year of specialty-specific experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in a Med Surg/Telemetry unit
• Work hours are 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• This is a 13-week travel contract
• Cares for medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Night shift assignment with no mention of call or weekend requirements
• Responsible for providing nursing care to med-surg and telemetry patients on a busy hospital unit
• Must submit a complete application, skills checklist, references, nursing license verification, and certification copies for consideration
• US Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for employment eligibility; Canadian SSNs are not accepted
• All certifications must be valid through at least the first 30 days of the assignment

Requirements

• Active TX or Compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent Med Surg/Telemetry RN experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the US with a valid Social Security Number and provide Date of Birth
