Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring an OH or compact license and recent telemetry experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Patient population includes medical-surgical and telemetry cases
• Rotating day/night 12-hour shifts (7am-7:30pm or 7pm-7:30am) with schedule adjustments based on hospital needs
• Required to work every other holiday
• Telemetry monitoring and ECG rhythm recognition assessment during orientation
• Teamwork and adaptability are essential due to potential for shift rotation
• Assignments at any Cleveland Clinic location may not exceed 18 consecutive months
• A 6-month break is required before returning to a Cleveland Clinic assignment with American Traveler
• Holiday coverage is required for at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• At least 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel assignments
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate tests during orientation
