Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with a current CA license for a flexible Med Surg and Emergency Room night shift assignment requiring multiple certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting with coverage required for both Med/Surg and Emergency Room units depending on departmental needs
• Patient populations include adult Med-Surg, Med-Surg Ortho, Med-Surg Peds, and emergency cases
• Night shift assignment
• 13-week contract
• Quick start assignment
• Must be willing and able to work flexibly between Med/Surg and ER units as needed
• Required to wear Caribbean Blue scrubs while on duty
• Annual Sexual Harassment Prevention Training with certificate of completion is mandatory
• Teamwork, confidentiality, accountability, and respect are essential values for this role
• Local candidates are accepted with no radius restriction indicated

Requirements

• Active and current CA RN license in good standing
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience as an Emergency Room Nurse
• Current ACLS, BLS (or BCLS), and PALS certifications required
• TNCC certification required within one year of hire
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with staff at all levels
