Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist with inpatient and pediatric experience for a day shift, acute care assignment.
Responsibilities
- Inpatient pediatric acute care occupational therapy unit
- Day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
- Patient population includes children with diverse cardiopulmonary, developmental, musculoskeletal, neurological, and sensorimotor needs
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, including standardized and non-standardized tests
- Verify appropriateness of referrals and review patient medical history and records
- Integrate clinical knowledge to make informed recommendations
Requirements
- Current certification by the National Board of Certified Occupational Therapy required
- State licensure as an Occupational Therapist required if applicable
- Experience in inpatient and pediatric care preferred
- Must have prior travel experience for consideration
