Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist with inpatient and pediatric experience for a day shift, acute care assignment.

Responsibilities

Inpatient pediatric acute care occupational therapy unit
Day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Patient population includes children with diverse cardiopulmonary, developmental, musculoskeletal, neurological, and sensorimotor needs
Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, including standardized and non-standardized tests
Verify appropriateness of referrals and review patient medical history and records
Integrate clinical knowledge to make informed recommendations

Requirements

Current certification by the National Board of Certified Occupational Therapy required
State licensure as an Occupational Therapist required if applicable
Experience in inpatient and pediatric care preferred
Must have prior travel experience for consideration
