Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring a TX or compact license and night shifts.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit
Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week from 19:00 to 07:00
Minimum assignment length is 13 weeks, with longer options available
RN rotates through triage, antepartum, labor, circulate, and transition areas
Does not include post-partum assignments
Must work one holiday including both the eve and day
Role includes providing care in all aspects of labor and delivery except post-partum
Holiday coverage is required for one holiday during the assignment
Responsibilities include triage, antepartum care, active labor management, circulating in procedures, and transition care for mothers and newborns

Requirements

Active TX or compact RN license required
Current certifications: NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Relevant experience in labor and delivery nursing is required
