Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring an ID or Compact RN license and two years of recent Med/Surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:00
• 13-week contract assignment
• Patient care is focused on adult medical-surgical cases
• Cannot have current permanent employment with the health system at the time of assignment
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Must clock in and out using the electronic timekeeping system

Requirements

• Active ID or Compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Med/Surg nursing
• Current BLS certification (RCIS and RQI certifications not accepted)
• Certifications must be valid for at least the first 30 days of assignment
• Full US Social Security Number required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
