Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Stepdown position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and recent cardiac stepdown experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital stepdown (HVTI) unit
• Cardiac stepdown patient population
• Three 12-hour shifts per week on rotating day/night schedule (7am-7:30pm or 7pm-7:30am)
• Shifts may rotate based on operational needs
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Uses ECG rhythm monitoring equipment
• Must work at least every other holiday
• Assignments at any Cleveland Clinic location cannot exceed 18 consecutive months, and a 6-month break is required before returning
• Team support and orientation provided
• Qualivis – Lotus is used for submitting hours worked

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license must be in hand
• Minimum 18 months permanent experience in cardiac stepdown prior to travel
• Travel experience in cardiac stepdown will be accepted
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Must successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
