Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Cardiovascular ICU position requiring a CO or compact license and at least 2 years of critical care experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a 12-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit in a hospital setting
Unit focuses on cardiothoracic, thoracic, and vascular surgical patients with overflow from Surgical Critical Care and Medical ICU
Night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00-07:00) with varying days
Weekend shifts required per unit needs
No on-call responsibilities
Floating to other units required as needed
Uses Epic for charting
Must wear navy blue scrubs
Up to 10 days of requested time off allowed, with some blackout dates
Holiday and peak season time off is restricted within specified periods
Local rate applies if residing within 75 miles of the facility

Requirements

Active CO or compact RN license required
Minimum 2 years of recent critical care experience required
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Prior CVICU experience strongly preferred
First time travelers are not accepted
