Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for a Neonatal ICU night shift assignment requiring at least one year of NICU experience and a CO or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with neonatal patient population
• 12-hour night shifts, three shifts per week
• Uses Epic EMR for charting
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to be on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Perform independent and delegated nursing functions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of neonatal care
• Responsible for health teaching, counseling, and executing delegated medical functions
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year to be eligible for a travel assignment
• Document in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Compliance with health system's mission, vision, values, and service behavior standards is required

Requirements

• Active RN license in Colorado or compact state required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of one year recent experience in the NICU specialty required
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with ASN required
• AHA BLS certification required and must not expire before start date
• NRP certification required for NICU
• Epic EMR experience required
• No pending licenses at the time of consideration
