Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a pediatric unit position with night shifts, requiring a NJ or compact license and pediatric experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a pediatric unit within a hospital setting
Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
Every other weekend is required
Block scheduling is not permitted
Required to float between five hospitals within skillset based on needs
Care for pediatric patients as part of a multidisciplinary team
Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a different pay rate
All requested time off must be submitted with initial application; changes are not accepted after submission

Requirements

Active NJ or compact RN license
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
Minimum of two years pediatric nursing experience required
COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required with no exemptions
First-time travelers are accepted
