Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OB Ultrasound Technologist with active Oregon licensure and certification for a day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a diagnostic imaging setting focusing on OB/GYN ultrasound procedures
• Perform general abdominal and OB/small parts sonography
• Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• May float to other departments within clinical scope as needed
• Provide diagnostic OB/GYN, abdominal, neurosonology, and ophthalmic ultrasound services as requested by licensed practitioners
• Demonstrate anatomy to assist with interpretation or intervention
• Maintain professional judgment and adhere to medical ethics in all procedures
• Recognize and respond to patient conditions essential for successful completion of imaging procedures
• No COVID-19 vaccination required for consideration

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years ultrasound experience required
• Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited sonography program or equivalent
• Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or equivalent approved certification
• Licensed in the State of Oregon as Ultrasonographer or Radiologic Technologist/Sonographer (license required if applicable)
