Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position in Illinois requiring an active IL RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Interventional Radiology department of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 6:30pm
• 13-week assignment with 4 ten-hour shifts per week
• On-call responsibilities as required
• Patient care involves moderate sedation and procedures typical of interventional radiology
• Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Provide patient and family education and instructions
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records
• Demonstrate professional communication skills and clinical judgment
• Continuing education participation is encouraged

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency in providing moderate sedation is required
